Aaron Kale
Chief Accounting Officer & Vice President, Tax
Aaron Kale has served as Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President, Tax for The Wendy’s Company since 2026.
He leads the Company’s global accounting and tax functions, providing oversight of Wendy’s public financial filings and international subsidiaries along with overall accounting operations and tax strategies across Wendy’s global business.
Aaron has been with Wendy’s since 2012, when he joined as Director, International Tax. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Tax since 2019. In 2025, he stepped into an expanded interim leadership capacity overseeing Wendy’s global accounting and tax functions before being promoted to his current role. Prior to joining Wendy’s, Aaron held tax roles at Limited Brands and PwC.
In addition to his leadership at the Company, Aaron is an active contributor to Wendy’s community engagement efforts serving as Treasurer for the Wendy’s Foundation Board, the Wendy’s PAC Board, and the Dublin Chamber of Commerce Board.
His favorite Wendy’s menu item since college remains a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger no tomato.
Aaron holds a Master of Taxation degree from Capital University Law School and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bowling Green State University.
