This International Hamburger Day, May 28, we’re celebrating a fan-favorite that’s been part of Wendy’s story since day one: our square hamburgers.

Available for a limited time beginning June 9, 2026, this masterpiece starts with a 100% beef patty layered with crunchy tortilla chips, jalapeños, onions, spicy pepper mayo and melted cheese, all served on a toasted bun. A side of spicy cheddar cheese sauce lets fans customize every bite.

Japan: Truffle & Mozzarella Baconator®  

In Japan, the Truffle & Mozzarella Baconator is a new fan-favorite available now, featuring a savory sauce made with chopped black truffles and fragrant white truffle oil. Paired with rich, creamy mozzarella cheese and crispy, flavorful bacon, this indulgent combination enhances the bold taste of Wendy’s square 100% beef patty.

United States: Dave’s Single®  

In the U.S., the Dave’s Single remains a true original. Named after Wendy’s founder, Dave Thomas, the Dave’s Single starts with a quarter pound** of fresh beef topped with American cheese, crisp lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise all on a toasted potato bun. It’s a simple, satisfying cheeseburger made the way it was meant to be – hot, juicy and made to order with fresh ingredients, because that’s what Dave would do.

Canada: Bacon Portabella Mushroom Melt  

Canada’s hamburger spotlight lands on the Bacon Portabella Mushroom Melt, better known (and loved) by Wendy’s fans as the BPMM. Celebrating 10 years on our menu, the BPMM features fresh 100% Canadian beef, Applewood smoked bacon, savoury portabella mushrooms, and a rich, melty cheddar cheese sauce. The BPMM delivers premium indulgence in a way only Wendy’s could - unapologetically craveable.

United Kingdom: Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger 

Across the pond, celebrate this International Hamburger Day with a free Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger (JBC) with purchase in the Wendy’s UK mobile app***. Currently available throughout our LAC region, the Big Dipper delivers bold flavor with a fun, interactive twist. It features a 100% beef patty topped with crunchy tortilla chips, tomato, onions, smoky pepper mayo and melted cheese, all served on a toasted bun with a side of cheese sauce for dipping. The result is a craveable, playful culinary experience.
