Wendy's Veteran's Day 2026 Deal: Free Dave's Single
WENDY’S IS HONORING VETERANS DAY ON NOVEMBER 11, 2026 WITH A FREE DAVE’S SINGLE FOR VETERANS AND ACTIVE-DUTY MILITARY. FIND YOUR NEAREST WENDY’S.

This Veterans Day, Wendy’s is proud to offer veterans and active-duty military a FREE Dave’s Single* at participating U.S. restaurants as a gesture of appreciation for their service and sacrifice. And there’s special meaning behind the hamburger we’re serving up.

The Wendy’s family includes many veterans, beginning with our founder, Dave Thomas. Long before opening the first Wendy’s restaurant in 1969, Dave joined the U.S. Army at age 18 and attended the Army’s Cook and Bakers School. While serving in Germany, he rose to the rank of staff sergeant and helped manage the Enlisted Men’s Club, preparing and serving meals for as many as 2,000 people a day. Those early experiences helped Dave develop leadership and culinary skills that would later shape his future in the restaurant business.

That history makes the Dave’s Single an especially fitting way to say thank you. Named after the veteran who founded Wendy’s, the Dave’s Single has roots in Wendy’s original menu and reflects the commitment to quality that has been part of our brand from the beginning.
